Lost Lake Park features over 30 km of cross-country skiing trails with incredible views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Enjoy a circuit on the groomed trails, night skiing or a lesson to improve your skills. Snowshoeing is also available at the park, which is just a short walk from Whistler Village.

Our trails feature lots of variety for both traditional and skate skiing with beginner, intermediate, and advanced level terrain. Join us once a month for a moonlight ski or for one of our kids programs. Dogs are welcome on designated trails.

Memphremagog Ski Touring Foundation MSTF is a nonprofit corporation with a mission to create and promote a system of high quality ski and snowshoe trails in the Derby- Newport region of Vermont. MSTF trails vary from railroad flat to precipitous, with skate and classic machine grooming on the core network.

Mt Shasta Nordic Ski Organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting community health and well-being by providing groomed cross country ski trails and programs for a diverse population on the slopes of majestic Mount Shasta.

A natural and historic setting for cross-country skiing, skate skiing or snowshoeing in the cascades. We offer 30km of trails groomed for classic and skate alongside 10km of snowshoe trails. Our scenic trail system takes you along Mill Creek and into the heart of Mill Valley. Our location provides for plentiful snow and our terrain offers relaxing cruising, challenging climbs and thrilling descents. Our Lodge is cozy and our dedicated staff has all the amenities you need for a great day in the mountains.

Morin-Heights, who maintains a cross-country and snowshoe trail network of 130 linear kilometres, of which 65 km is track set, is a member of the Réseau de ski de fond des Laurentides.

Approximately 80% of the trails cross private property, and it is primarily due to landowner’s goodwill that such a magnificent network exists. The majority of these trails are for winter use only from December 1st to April 15th.

With the exception of the Corridor Aérobique and other short sections of trails, the network is single track set, with a recommended direction of travel to ensure safety. The narrow width of most trails combined with hilly terrain provides a unique attraction not found in many other centres. It is for these reasons that Morin-Heights remains a classic style network.

Pine Hill Ski Club is a cross country ski touring club accessed from Mountain Road in New London, NH. It is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that maintains nearly 20 kilometers of trails opened by generous landowners. All trails are groomed by volunteers for classic skiing. Sections of trail are open for Nordic skiers who bring their dogs.

Trail fees are $15 for a daily pass, collected weekdays by the honor system, with collection boxes at the trailhead. Fees pay for expenses such as snow grooming equipment, insurance and gas.

Bear Valley Cross Country boasts an extensive trail system of over 3,000 acres. Amenities include 35 trails carefully groomed for track, skate skiing and snowshoeing, ski school, the Meadow Cafe, a complete rental, demo and retail facility, 4 Trailside Huts, a sledding/tubing facility and a variety of special events and races. The elevation of 7,000 feet to 7,800 feet guarantees first to open (usually mid November) and last to close (usually mid April) status among Sierra cross country centers.

Minocqua Winter Park (MWP) is one of the most popular Nordic Centers in the Midwest. The expansive trail system meanders through 6,500 acres of Northwoods wilderness. The park features 80+ kilometers of cross-country ski trails impeccably groomed by experienced staff for skate and classic techniques. The wide variety of terrain provides plenty of easy, intermediate, and expert trail options for everyone in the family.

Visitors will also find many year-round recreation opportunities, including snowshoe trails, snow tubing runs, an ice-skating pond, kids’ programs, naturalist presentations, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, and an 18-hole disc golf course.

MWP is maintained by Minocqua Winter Park Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that relies on a solid base of volunteers and partners, the groundwork laid by the circle of adventurous friends who founded the park in 1979.

Whether you have ever skied or not, Rock Creek Lodge has terrain perfect for your ability. With 15 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails surrounded by endless touring, telemark, or randonée ski terrain, the beauty of the John Muir Wilderness lies before you. For families looking to avoid the crowds of Mammoth, Rock Creek Lodge is a quiet winter paradise. Never crowded, even on the busiest weekends, it is the perfect place to learn or improve your cross-country skiing, and/or the perfect place to find untracked powder weeks after a storm.

Sugarloaf may be best known as an alpine skiing resort, but tucked away in the woods just minutes from the base area is Maine's largest Nordic center. The lodge is home to a full Nordic retail shop, rental center, and cafe- all surrounded by some of the most picturesque trails in New England.

Eldora’s Nordic Center is complemented by an extensive network of trails – starting just a few steps past our ski lifts and meandering through serene forests, across expansive alpine meadows and past dramatic mountain backdrops. The trails, 40 kilometers in all, are designated for classic cross-country skiing, skate skiing or snowshoeing.

Check in with us at the Eldora Nordic Center for compete rental packages, lessons and clinics. Whether you’ve never cross-country skied or you’re an expert, we’ve got a lesson for you. To round out your day, the Eldora Nordic Center has snacks and drinks available, plus a variety of sundries including hats, gloves and sunglasses.

From December to April we maintain groomed skating and tracked classic Nordic trails, all situated on fantastic terrain in a beautiful setting. Our commitment to these trails has grown and we have invested resources into improving the trails themselves. On Darling Hill, said to be the “prettiest mile in Vermont” we maintain 15 kilometers of skating and classic trails that wind through field and forest. You can’t beat the vista from these trails, looking out at Willoughby Gap as you tour next to historic barns, quaint inns and majestic Victorian houses. This is also the home training grounds for Burke Mountain Academy, Lyndon Institute, and St. Johnsbury Academy Nordic Ski Teams.

Trail difficulty ranges from beginner to intermediate and are maintained primarily with a Tiddtech G2 Groomer, a Yellowstone roller/compactor and 2 Yamaha 4- stroke ProVK snowmobiles. We roll our system to ensure a quality base that will last through the season. This year we have several newly designed trails and bridges. We offer programs and events throughout the winter and also offer 40 kilometers of packed trails for snowshoeing & fat bikes.
