Grand Nordic Ski Club
Description
Nestled in the snowy mountains of Grand County is a passionate group of cross-country ski enthusiasts called The Grand Nordic Ski Club. The club was formed in 1993, combining Fraser Valley Nordic with other Nordic entities in the valley in order to reflect the broader mission - to serve all Nordic skiing enthusiasts in Grand county. Dedicated; The Grand Nordic Ski Club is the heart and soul of cross-country skiing in Grand County. Our members tirelessly promote the sport through education, ski touring, racing, youth sponsorships, and more. We are blazing trails so people of all abilities can enjoy the magic of our mountain winters. For over 30 years, the club has preserved a beloved pastime for generations to come.
The non-profit club currently has about 300 members and invites newcomers to join. The $35 individual or $50 family annual membership gives many personal benefits such as discounted daily trail passes, merchandise, free trail passes and rentels on our free lesson days, and discount pricing on our Ranch 2 Ranch Trek, in addition to the community benefit of providing a local voice for Nordic skiing.
