ABR Trails, now run by the Anderson Bluffs and River Trails Foundation is a full service ski touring center located on over 1100 scenic acres of varied terrain along the Montreal River in Ironwood, Michigan. ABR Trails offers options for everyone from the beginner to the competitive skier, with 100 km of ski trails plus 16 km of snowshoe trails and skijoring trails too it’s no wonder ABR was voted 2nd overall Best Cross-Country Ski Resort in the US in 2024. ABR has a full-service ski shop including rentals and ski instruction.

ABR Trails has been part of the ski community in northern Michigan for over 30 years known for expert grooming, friendly service, and rustic trailside cabins. The resort started in 1995 as ABR Inc. At the end of the 2024-25 ski season, ABR was donated by Eric Anderson and Angela Santini to the Anderson Bluffs and River Trails Foundation to be run as a nonprofit to sustain the ABR Legacy as the Midwest’s Premier Nordic Ski destination for generations to come and to connect ABR Trails to the larger community.
