- [Western Foothills Land Trust/Roberts Preserve](https://xcski.org/business-directory/3413/western-foothills-land-trust-roberts-preserve/) - Roberts Farm Preserve is located just outside of downtown Norway offering a variety of recreational opportunities. Parking is available on Mahoney Drive or Carhenge skier lot, just one block away. Limited parking available at Boomerang Road trailhead. Ample parking available at Lawson Hill. Rollo Nordic Trail Grooming is the exclusive snow grooming contractor for all Town of Telluride Valley Floor Winter Trails. All grooming of Valley Floor trails occurs between dawn and dusk. We groom Mac Pass and the Golf Course, when snow-depth permits, for both classic and skate skiing. Skiers of all abilities are welcome on either trail, and skiing is free. To defray grooming and other expenses the Club welcomes skiers to become a Last Chance Nordic Ski Club member or make donations. There’s a lot of work done year-around, behind the scenes, to make the MacDonald Pass trails and the Golf Course tracks skiable. Besides grooming four to six days a week, there are snow-machines, rollers, and ginzu’s that need to be purchased and maintained; trails to be kept free of trees, branches, stones, and grass; signs to be erected; maps to be updated; this website to be maintained; restrooms to be maintained and cleaned; grants to be sought and procured; parking lots to be plowed out; and many other large and small but vital tasks. About half the grooming is paid, all other work is done by club members volunteering. Four or so Saturdays a year, our Youth Skiers program provides kids, ages three to twelve, with a couple hours of fun on the snow alongside volunteer instructors and parents while they improve their cross country skiing skills. A weekly Master Skiers program, open to all skiers of all abilities, brings continuing cross country ski education to the eighteen-plus years-old set.

All grooming takes place using JNSC operated snow machines and grooming attachments, operated by the volunteer groomer corps and is snow cover dependent.

The Relais rents classic skis and is planning to have fatbikes for the 2019-2020 season and sells the daily passes to access the ski trails. Ski lessons and shuttles for linear long distances to the Relais can be arranged in advance. There is an outdoor free parking lot with 172 spaces.

Our apple operation is smaller now and we are able to share our location with others in the winter season. An elevation of 850 feet helps put us on the right side of the "snow line". There are no guarantees, but when it snows in the foothills of the White Mountains, we usually have to shovel it. Parking is where we formerly loaded trucks of fruit. Prepare for your outing or warm up in our winterized retail stand. We have rental equipment in all sizes including snowshoes. The trail system starts on our back lawn. Looping around the orchards, it connects with the logging roads between them. Links have been established with lands owned by abutters including the Loon Echo Land Trust on Bald Pate Mountain. While groomed trails do not extend to the summit snowshoe hikers and more adventuresome skiers regularly make the 20 minute back-country trek for a view to the horizon including numerous ponds and lakes.

Approximately 80% of the trails cross private property, and it is primarily due to landowner’s goodwill that such a magnificent network exists. The majority of these trails are for winter use only from December 1st to April 15th. With the exception of the Corridor Aérobique and other short sections of trails, the network is single track set, with a recommended direction of travel to ensure safety. The narrow width of most trails combined with hilly terrain provides a unique attraction not found in many other centres. It is for these reasons that Morin-Heights remains a classic style network.

It is 6 miles east of Salt Lake City and 15 miles west of Park City, Utah on the Mountain Dell golf course. Approximately 10 kilometers of track in 5 loops offer classic and skate skiing for all ability levels.
