Lost Lake offers 25 km of cross country trails and 15 km of snowshoe trails with incredible views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. The cross country trails are groomed daily for classic and skate techniques, with four kilometres lit for night skiing.

Our Cross Country Skiing Trails are located in our Nordic Area on Hollyburn Ridge just 30 minutes from the heart of downtown Vancouver, right at the city’s door step. 19 km of groomed & track set cross country ski trails (7.5 km of which are lit for night skiing) are yours to discover. Whether you are a skate or a classic skier, a beginner or an expert, there is terrain here for everyone. With the largest ski school in Canada our experts will get you out skiing in no time.
There's no better way to experience the beauty of SilverStar than exploring our cross-country trails. Begin with over 55 km of trails at SilverStar, varying in difficulty from Green to Blue to Black. A dual mountain cross-country ski pass will then allow you to explore an additional 50 km of connecting trails at Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre.
Lost Lake Park features over 30 km of cross-country skiing trails with incredible views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Enjoy a circuit on the groomed trails, night skiing or a lesson to improve your skills. Snowshoeing is also available at the park, which is just a short walk from Whistler Village.
Dakota Ridge Ski Areas
Dakota Ridge on BC’s Sunshine Coast is a 1,532 acre plateau featuring 20 kilometres of world-class groomed and track-set cross-country ski trails (classic and skate) and 8 kilometres of snowshoe trails plus acres of backcountry terrain. The trails wind through old-growth forests and open areas in a beautiful subalpine setting. Topping out at 1,200 metres, amazing views of the Coast Mountains, Vancouver Island, and Georgia Straight capture the magic of the Sunshine Coast.
The Panorama Nordic Centre at Greywolf offers more than 20+ km of regularly groomed trails dedicated to cross-country skiing. There's a new Fat Tire biking trail too. Through forest and alongside Toby Creek, the cross-country specific trails provide an uncrowded experience in spectacular mountain scenery.
Please pay for trail fees at the Panorama Nordic Centre, located at the Greywolf Golf Course Clubhouse. You can also pick up your Nordic ticket at the Guest Services Desk in Ski Tip Lodge.
