description East of Frank King Olympic Visitors Centre the nordic area includes a level teaching area, two 400-metre beginner loops, a more advanced 2.5 km trail and a biathlon air rifle range. Activities from beginner lessons to high performance race training & event hosting. At the Visitors Centre: retail shop; rental shop (alpine & nordic skis, snowboards and mountain bikes); tech shop; first aid; guest services & information centre; Olympic Hall of Fame & museum; cafeteria; restaurant & lounge; administration offices; park services and winter & summer sports schools. Our snowmaking system is one of the most advanced in the world.
