Cypress Mountain is Canada's most popular Cross Country Ski destination; with a respected Ski School to match the beautiful and varied trail system. Our Nordic Ski School boasts a variety of lesson programs from single day clinics to multi-session programs for skiers of all ages and abilities. When you are on the 19 km of track set Cross Country trails don't forget to make a stop at the historic Hollyburn Lodge for some great food or our fully licensed café for a hot beverage, in a one of a kind atmosphere. Dakota Ridge is a winter recreation area located on the Sunshine Coast, a short ferry trip from Vancouver. With 13 km of groomed cross country skiing trails and a network of snowshoe trails, Dakota Ridge offers excellent winter recreation for all ages. Dakota Ridge is a user pay system with onsite facilities including a warming hut with fireplace, and an outhouse with eco holding tank. There is a kiosk with a trail map at the trailhead. Dakota Ridge is patrolled on the weekends by volunteer trail hosts. They are available to answer questions, monitor trails, and help ensure skier safety. Dakota Ridge is a wilderness area with varying weather conditions. Please come prepared for the weather. Also, there are no garbage facilities on site, so please pack your garbage out with you. trails & ski services 13km groomed; 8km snowshoe trails; snowshoe trails are not shared with skiers; 2km dog trails

Come explore more than 30 kms of ski trails, and 12 kms of well marked snow shoe trails. The trails are track set for classic, and groomed for skate skiing. Four kms of trails are lit to 9 pm, allowing you to enjoy Lost Lake and the warming hut.
